Joanna’s heart is for the persecuted church - the men and women who suffer for Christ. She recently launched her advocacy called “Strengthen What Remains” where she shares the plight of the persecuted church. This formation came over years of exposure to Open Doors International Ministry where her family serves in the leadership body in Asia for more than 35 years.

Joanna is an educator by profession and has taught for more than 10 years. She co-founded a project called “The Seedling Project”, which produces Christian resources for children. She took up Education at Miriam College, finished her master’s degree in Education Administration at the Ateneo De Manila University, and took a short course in Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Oxford. She also finished her online studies in apologetics through RZIM’s Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. She is also a homeschool teacher and is currently finishing her master’s degree in Theology at the Asian Theological Seminary.
